Old Dog was created through my love of dogs and wood working. The Old Dog is "Augie" a 13 year old German Short Haired Pointer that has more personality than any 10 dogs you will ever meet. Augie and I have been traveling the country for the past 11 years competing in bird dog tournaments and basically enjoying each others company. Over the thousands of miles we traveled, Augie and I have visited over 20 of our states and seen a large part of this great country.

      I have always had a love for wood working and creating unique things to catch a person's eye. I spent the better part of 20 years building log homes in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. I decided to get into the art of creating things constructed of wine barrels because of my love of  the beautiful wine country that I am fortunate enough to call home!

      My goal is to satisfy your need to display a beautiful piece of a wine barrel creation in your home and or the home of a loved one!
